A qualified general contractor and project manager, Yitzchok has been involved with construction and real estate since 2009. Yitzchok’s expertise includes project management, property development, and key stakeholder management. Yitzchok has been involved in the development and acquisition of over $350M worth of real estate and infrastructure across the Tri-State Area. Yitzchok’s responsibilities include origination, client relations, portfolio management, and strategic planning.
Chaim has over 32+ years of experience in the construction industry. He knows how to get the job right and keep clients happy and impressed. Chaim is well known in the town of Lakewood, and he is able to leverage his contacts and knowledge of the construction industry to get things done that no one else can.
Nexgen’s COO, Jake, has come full circle, having started out in the construction industry as an employee of Nexgen founder Chaim Abadi. As a professional coordinator and problem solver, Jake ensures that projects are run with professionalism and the good parts of corporate culture – efficiency, and systems and processes. His 17 years in the industry prepared him well for a position in which professional management and personal attention are a matter of course. Jake lets loose as a family man who participates in charity events to benefit the community and helps arrange multiple sporting events, including a local Junior Ice Hockey League.
As Project Manager, Mark is responsible for overseeing projects from the planning stage through completion. That includes taking care of permits, scheduling, efficiency, overall quality, and customer satisfaction. Two projects Mark is particularly proud of are Climbzone and Starbucks. Driven and organized, Mark brings a wealth of practical & management experience with him. Before joining the Nexgen team in 2017, Mark managed camp facilities- including hands-on maintenance work in plumbing, electric, and septic systems. Married with two daughters, Mark volunteers as an EMT.
As the Controller, Devorah oversees Nexgen’s accounts. She is responsible for processing AIA billings to customers, making sure the books are in order and preparing financial reports. Before joining the Nexgen team, Devorah spent 4 years in the accounting department of a large general contracting company in Michigan. When not at work, Devorah enjoys reading, being with her family, and spending time outdoors.
Originally from Miami, Heftzi manages the billing side of the Nexgen operation. She monitors and processes all invoices received, structures subcontractor payments, and is responsible for all bills. In her free time, Heftzi enjoys cooking.
Zac is an experienced real estate professional with expertise in real estate portfolio development and management. His strong ability to lead teams that meet and exceed goals and expectations have earned a proud history of grateful clients. He has directed major mechanical and structural capital improvements and oversaw countless built-to-suit construction projects. He excels in bid development and review, contract implementation, budgeting, negotiations, zoning, architectural planning and field management. Zac loves to spend time with his fun family and has a passion for the great outdoors, as long as it’s sunny and over 70 degrees.
Lazer has 8+ years of driving rapid construction and accelerating stalled projects with efficiency and persistence. His experience in the field helps him have the critical ability to close project gaps and take upscale projects to the finish line on time and on budget. Lazer is currently working on 55 Washington, a 9-story, 91 unit multi-family project for Nexgen Builders. In his spare time, Lazer volunteers for an organization that helps families with children battling life-threatening illnesses.
Elchonon supervises the residential division at Nexgen. His previous experience in electric work and management primed him for this position. His pleasing personality and passion for detail ensures a smooth and efficient jobsite. In his spare time, Elchonon enjoys fishing and hunting.
Abe recently joined Nexgen Builders as an Assistant Project Manager. Working under Mark, he ensures that projects and schedules are executed accurately and efficiently in a timely manner. Abe’s persistence and likeability creates an efficient and enjoyable jobsite environment. Abe enjoys traveling and spending time with his family in his free time. He is also involved in many charitable causes.
